Hi, I'm Mark.

My life is centered around Jesus Christ. Around five years ago, I began taking a serious look at who Jesus was, how He treated people, what He taught, and the example He set. The more I learned, the more I realized that something important was missing from my life. I saw in His character, humility, and love a lot of things I didn't see in myself. As someone who likes to ask questions, I spent a lot of time studying apologetics, the evidence for God's existence, and the historical case for Jesus' resurrection. Eventually, I became convinced that Christianity was true and chose to put my trust in Christ and surrender my whole life to Him. It remains the best decision I have ever made. Praise the Lord!

Teaching has given me the opportunity to build some wonderful relationships with families over the years. I've often taught multiple siblings within the same family for several years and I continue to do so. One of the incredible blessings of tutoring online has been the opportunity to visit some of these families in person on trips to the United States. Spending time with students and parents in person has been a special experience, and some photos from those visits can be found below.

When I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me reading the Bible, leading Bible studies, training at the gym or the track, or spending time with friends and the community God has built around me here in Mexico. I go home to the UK every summer to spend time with my parents and friends, and enjoy the English countryside.
